The 4 acre property includes perennial and vegetable gardens, an orchard and walking paths. The studio is in a lovely town with a historic center and no commercial establishments. Tangelwood, Kripalu, Berkshire Theater Festival and Jacob's Pillow are a short drive. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy: birding, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and biking opportunities in the area. Songbirds are plentiful throughout Spring, Summer and fall. Merlin has identified over thirty species on the property.

The entire property is carbon neutral. 10kW Photovoltaic Solar provides geothermal heating/cooling and all electrical needs for the main house as well as the studio. There is a Level-2 EV charger in the driveway that can be shared with the owner.
